The Diarist fell asleep
Asleep with no dreams
Got tired of the hurt
Closed within herself
Every time she tried to bloom
She was shoved to the back
Told she couldn't do it
to be content with where she was
But she wasn't content then
Isn't content now
Is opening her eyes
Is pushing forward
Is looking only to God
For she knows
That today is her day
Watch her as she grows and glows!
