Prayer turned into a poem written by me... (7th April, 2007). I have not chosen a title for it as yet, but if you think of one let me know.
I pray that you enjoy it and that you keep Matthew 11:28 & 29 in your Spirit. Oh and you have my permission to pass it on.

Dearest Daddy who is enthroned in Heaven
But lives in my heart,
I humbly bow before You
With my Heart extended to You,
Wanting just to talk and spend some time with You.
Daddy, today I come before you tired,
Tired of so much.
Daddy, I am tired of the comfortable,
Tired of the numbness,
The bland and solitary life
Tired of blending in,
I'm tired dear God of quenching your Spirit
Fearing what may happen.
Lord I just need so much more of you,
I want to try and catch you,
Like a little girl who follows her daddy's footsteps hoping for a chance to touch Him,
I want to be captured by You
Like a lover captures the one He feels is the apple of His eye,
I want to be the one dear Father
The one you choose to dance in your arms.
Lord I want no more of my filthiness
I want only Your Holiness,
Help me to become
The woman you created me to be.
Help me to deal with the hurts, the aches, the loneliness.
Help me to find my joys, my treasures in You.
Help me to begin fully seeking after You
And not just the things of You!
Dear Father I pray that You ruin EVERYTHING!
Everything that is not of You!
I only want You!
You alone can fill my heart thirsts, soul thrists, mind thirsts.
I want to be filled with You!
Teach me how to be Your precious daughter,
Teach me how to dance
I'm tired of reading and watching others do what I long to,
I want to be in your arms
I want to dance!
Talk is cheap Father,
I can talk all day of what dancing with You should be
But I want to live the dance
For I have realized that my life is the dance
Make it perfect.
But Lord this prayer is not only for me
I love my friends,
I want them to know more of You,
No more learning of who You are,
Dear Father it is time that they knew.
We need your presence Father God,
Impact to us all what You want us to know daily,
I love You and I want Your love to be bestowed upon them
Just like how You have bestowed it upon me.
Lord I also bring before You my family,
Take care of them, love them, teach them.
Show them how much You treasure them.
We love You
We need You
We want You
Make me an example to them
And help me to continue to grow with them.
Finally daddy I bring before You my enemies
Help me to love them just as You love me
Help me to not see them as foes
But to see them in a manner that will help me to be their friend
Help me to be Your witness.
Thank you for all that You have done
Thank you for taking away any feelings that do not glorify You,
Thank You dear father for reminding me that sometimes I just have to let go,
And let You have your way.
To You only does my Spirit yield,
To You only am I lead to,
