It saddens me
To see a flame dim
To watch a step lose it's pep
To watch as eyes lose passion
As a love begins to grow cold
As a tree begins to let leaves go
It is time
To fall
Time to close it all
As summer
Says goodbye
Time to sleep
Time to wait
For the next Spring
The next summer
The time when my heart
Will be gladdened
By love
By fire
By you!
