Tunnel
Dream
Goal
Never exited
Never actuality
Not achieved.
The promise was given
Then taken away
I was told
Then untold
That my dreams
Would be made real
That all I hoped for
Prayed for
Would be true!
Honestly,
Truly,
I am ANGRY!

Beholder
Beholder
Beauty is in the eye of the
Beholder.
Behold HER!
Beauty...
The one whose heart
Was thought to never be tamed
Until the day he beheld her
Then beauty was in his eye
Beauty did not come the day he loved her
It always was
It was in the way she walked
It was in the way she held herself
It was in the way she loved freely
Behold Her!
Love is in her
Beauty is in the eye of the
Beholder.
Behold HER!
Beauty...
The one whose heart
Was thought to never be tamed
Until the day he beheld her
Then beauty was in his eye
Beauty did not come the day he loved her
It always was
It was in the way she walked
It was in the way she held herself
It was in the way she loved freely
Behold Her!
Love is in her

By You!
By You!
By: Natasha D. Rufin
It saddens me
To see a flame dim
To watch a step lose it's pep
To watch as eyes lose passion
As a love begins to grow cold
As a tree begins to let leaves go
It is time
To fall
Time to close it all
As summer
Says goodbye
Time to sleep
Time to wait
For the next Spring
The next summer
The time when my heart
Will be gladdened
By love
By fire
By you!

RENEWED!!
RENEWED!
By: Natasha D. Rufin
RENEWED!
I can feel it
The muscles begin to form
Blood begins to flow
Skin placed onto sinews
Air into lungs
Smiles breaking free
Laughter rings in the air
Your word was shut up in my dry bones
Yet you renewed me
You gave me a new life
You said that you would give these dry bones life.
Oh HALLELUJAH!
I am refreshed
I am at rest
I am RENEWED!

Will It Be Okay
Sunlight pouring through the window
Onto pages that remain unwritten
The poet has stayed away
Not sure what to write or say
Until now...
I wonder what she will cover this page with
Will it be okay?
Onto pages that remain unwritten
The poet has stayed away
Not sure what to write or say
Until now...
I wonder what she will cover this page with
Will it be okay?
